Birds of Paradise Shawl

This shawl is so beautiful and colorful, I love it.

After blogging about my progress on this last week, I was able to take my excitement for this project and use it to push through the last few rows of the shawl. And I’m glad I did, because I just love looking at it.

I made this using a pattern by Suvi Geary called, you guessed it, the Birds of Paradise Shawl, and while the original absolutely lives up to that description, I feel like the bright, in-your-face colors in the yarn I used really bring it to the next level.

It’s bright, it’s sunshiney, it’s colorful, and it is absolutely what I needed to help get me through the winter.
