So I made a crochet sweater.
Okay, let’s back up to my birthday, in late December. I had just finished filing Etsy orders a few days prior, I was burnt out on a lot of things, and I mostly just wanted to make something purely because I wanted to make it. I also had a $50 gift card for Yarn Social. So, I got myself a skein of this really pretty cotton yarn, and decided what I really wanted to do was start a crochet sweater.
The specific pattern I used was the Isolla sweater by Linda Skuja. For the most part, I really like it, and I love the way the colors in the yarn ended up falling out, but I did have to modify the neck a bit to keep it from completely falling off my shoulders. It’s still a bit loose, but I like the way it fits at this point, and I’m looking forward to adding it to my sweater rotation as we’re getting into winter here in Kansas City.
