Yin Yang Cats Pillow

That’s right! I finished it.

It’s a lot more rectangular than I was expecting, and I’m still not entirely sure how that happened, but I still love it. I think Tunisian crochet makes for a very nice stitch pattern that works really well for colorwork. It looks almost woven.

As far as colorwork is concerned though, I don’t think it can beat double knitting. Tunisian crochet shares a lot of the same problems as crochet in that regard, and as much as I love the clean look you get using bobbins, I don’t love all the extra ends that need to be weaved in after.

Still though, this was a good experiment and made a nice throw pillow. The pattern I used is absolutely amazing, and I’d encourage you all to check it out for yourselves. It does cost a little bit of money, but it is more than worth it.

I’ll probably dip into Tunisian crochet again in the future, but for now, I’ve got a few more projects that need finishing. Can’t wait to see how the next one turns out.
