Entropy Creations is a partnership between two college students attempting to share our crafts with the world, earn extra money for college expenses, and also deal with all that yarn we own. I am one of those college students. My name is Autumn Summers, it’s nice to meet you.
I learned to crochet when I was in middle school, but I didn’t crochet very often until last year, when I learned I could make more than just sweaters and scarves.
At the beginning of this year, I had the idea to sell the things I make online, because let’s face it, you can only make so many stuffed animals before you start running out of places to put them. Additionally, I felt my creations had a quirky charm that would especially appeal to the geek community. I was soon joined in this endeavor by my friend, Sara Scott, who specializes in sewing and quilting.
Right now, Entropy Creations is nothing but a blog and an idea, but we ultimately hope to have a fully functioning shop on Etsy. Some of the things we will be selling include headbands, coasters, square-shaped teddy bears, monster-themed mug cozies, and Christmas ornaments.
On the blog, I’d like to share with you a little about each of the items we make, including any patterns if you want to make it for yourself. I’d also like to give you a little insight into the behind-the-scenes of Entropy Creations, including our crafting techniques and how we decide what to make.
Hope to see you again,
